Job summary

River Oaks KIA in Thornton Township, IL is seeking a Part-Time Porter to keep the lot neat, move vehicles as directed, and ensure every car on display is clean and ready for customers.

This position offers flexible scheduling, a pay range of $15.00–$16.00 per hour, and opportunities for growth within the Ed Napleton Automotive Group, a long‑standing family‑owned dealer network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver1s license.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
