Job summary

River Oaks Honda is seeking an Automotive Porter to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of vehicles and to transport vehicles and customers as needed. This role supports sales and service by keeping the lot organized and handling deliveries with safety in mind.

The position offers a pay range of $15.00-$18.00 per hour, benefits, paid vacation and sick time, and opportunities for career growth within the Ed Napleton Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly and moving units as directed by managers.
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assisting with customer deliveries and showroom vehicle readiness.
• Ensuring vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot.
• Picking up vehicles from storage and delivering to storage or other dealerships.
• Assisting with weather-related clean up and general grounds maintenance.
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned.

Located at River Oaks Honda, the Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely

• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
