Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Porter at River Oaks Honda in Illinois. You will keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly, move units as directed, and assist with customer deliveries and transport of dealership personnel.

Responsibilities include ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair, helping with weather-related cleanup, and supporting building and grounds maintenance. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation and training, discounts on vehicles,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to operate machinery safely.
• Able to drive manual and automatic transmission.
• Valid driver's license.
• 18+ years of age to comply with company policy.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as required by law.

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly according to dealership display standards.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup when necessary.
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Porter. Located at River Oaks Honda, the Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
