Job summary

Kia of Carmel is seeking a Porter to keep our lot neat, move units, and assist with vehicle deliveries and showroom upkeep. This role supports Sales and Service by ensuring vehicles are clean, ready, and accessible for customers at our Carmel location.

The position requires a high school diploma, the ability to operate machinery safely, and a valid driver's license with experience driving both manual and automatic transmissions. A background check is required and 18+ years of age is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate an automobile.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly and move units as directed.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Pick up vehicles from storage and deliver to storage or other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related clean up when necessary.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance and other projects as assigned.

Located at Napleton KIA ofCarmel, the Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:
