Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents at our facilities. You will serve as the primary care provider, supported by a dedicated NP or PA to ensure excellent patient care.

This part-time role (1 day/week) in Newburyport, MA offers compensation of $50,000–$60,000 annually. Board-certified in primary care with LTC experience and strong leadership to mentor care teams are preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with primary care and LTC experience.
• Proven leadership abilities to mentor NPs and PAs.
• Must be able to stand/walk extensively and navigate multi-level facilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary care provider for residents in SNFs.
• Conduct rounds with NPs/PAs to assess and manage resident care.
• Diagnose acute illnesses and oversee management of chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
