Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents in skilled nursing facilities.

You will serve as the primary clinician with a dedicated NP or PA supporting you, collaborating to deliver comprehensive patient care. Based in Bennington, VT, this part-time role offers flexible scheduling (1 day per week) with total annual compensation of $50,000–$60,000, plus benefits including Paid Time Off and Malpractice Insurance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership and the ability to mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Ability to oversee medical management in Skilled Nursing Facilities and LTC settings.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management.
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care.
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing ongoing medical conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
