Job summary

SAIC is seeking a part-time Air Traffic Control Instructor-II for the CTS team at the New York ARTCC (ZNY) in Ronkonkoma, NY. The role involves hands-on delivery of classroom and simulation training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs, with potential curriculum design contributions.

The successful candidate will have FAA CPC certification and demonstrated experience with ATC simulators, supporting FAA training programs.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Five (5) years of FAA CPC live-traffic experience or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility at the same type or greater ATC facility as NY ARTCC (ZNY).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) as needed.
• May participate in curriculum design and development.
