Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Full-time Air Traffic Control Instructor for the New York TRACON (N90) in Westbury, NY. The role involves delivering hands-on classroom and simulation training to development air traffic controllers and CPCs, with potential mentoring and curriculum design duties.

Candidates must have FAA CPC certification and U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust. Target salary range is $40,001–$80,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• CTS Instructor must have 5+ years of FAA CPC live-traffic experience at the same ATC facility type (New York TRACON).
• Experience with instructor roles and curriculum development is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide range of students.
• Mentor students and assist in curriculum design and development for CTS programs.
