Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Part-time Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to join the Controller Training Solutions team at the Nashville ATCT/TRACON (BNA) in Nashville, TN, supporting FAA training services. The role emphasizes hands-on delivery of classroom and simulation lab training, mentoring students and RPOs, and contributing to curriculum design.

Candidates should have CPC experience or recent FAA instructor work.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic, or recent contract instruction at an FAA facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and simulation training to a diverse student body, including developmental controllers and CPCs.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators as needed and contribute to curriculum development.
• Obtain radar and/or non-radar simulation lab certifications at FAA facilities across the NAS.
