Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Part Time ATCT (Tower) Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the CTS team at the FAA Regional Office in College Park, GA. The role focuses on delivering practical training and maintaining certification requirements for instructors and simulators.

The successful candidate will work with ATC automation, simulation systems, and FAA personnel to ensure high quality training for a diverse set of students. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum 3 years FAA CPC or equivalent Military ATCS experience at facility level 7–9.
• High school diploma or GED.
• FAA CPC or Military equivalent certification with ability to obtain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training to developmental air traffic control students.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills with ATC automation and simulation systems.
• Interface effectively with FAA personnel to meet training needs at the local facility and FAA’s mission.
