Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Part-time Air Traffic Control Instructor for the Controller Training Solutions team at the San Juan CERAP (ZSU) in Carolina, PR. The role involves hands-on classroom and simulation training for developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs, with potential mentoring of students and RPOs.

Required is US citizenship, ability to obtain Public Trust clearance, and at least five years of FAA CPC experience at a matching ATC facility.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience at the same type level of ATC facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation training to a diverse student group.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators where applicable.
• Support curriculum design and development for ATC training programs.
• Ensure training aligns with FAA standards and facility needs.
