Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Casual Air Traffic Control Instructor-II at the Minneapolis ARTCC (ZMP) in Farmington, MN. The role involves delivering hands-on classroom and simulation training for FAA training programs and may include mentoring for students and RPOs.

A CPC certification and ability to obtain instructor certifications are required. The CTS Training Solutions team expects strong ATC automation and simulation skills, with potential for curriculum design involvement and on-site instruction.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent contract Instructor experience at an FAA facility.
• Experience at the Minneapolis ARTCC (ZMP) or same type facility preferred.
• Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators as needed; may participate in curriculum design and development.
• Support FAA training needs at Minneapolis ARTCC (ZMP) and related facilities.
