Child Development Schools is hiring an Assistant Teacher to work alongside the Lead Teacher and support young learners with engaging activities, stories, and daily routines. You will help create a warm, safe classroom where children feel confident to explore and learn.

You will assist with lessons, maintain a clean, organized space, observe developmental progress, and communicate with families. This full-time position includes comprehensive benefits and tuition discount options.

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $11.00-$14.00 per hour, based on experience and education.
