Job summary

Child Development Schools, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support a Lead Teacher in delivering engaging lessons and caring for young children. You will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, and joy, encouraging curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth.

You will observe and document developmental progress, communicate with families, and maintain a safe, organized space. This role offers full-time benefits and competitive pay based on experience.

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $11.00-$14.00 per hour, based on experience and education.
