Job summary

Child Development Schools in Bryant, Arkansas, is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our classroom team. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and confidence in young learners.

You will help maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment, document daily activities, and communicate with families. This role emphasizes hands-on learning, storytelling, and supporting children’s growth and well-being.

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Your role

As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands-on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements

Pay And Benefits

Pay:$11-$12.75 per hour, based on experience and education.
