Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, customer service, and staff development at our Taylor, MI location. You will oversee scheduling, training, and store standards while ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for customers.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to company policies, and teamwork to drive sales and a positive environment. This position requires a hands-on, customer-focused manager ready to mentor staff and meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and follow up.
• Administer progressive steps of discipline including verbal and written warnings when Store Manager is absent.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment and aligning work with company objectives.
• Open and close the store following Operations P&P Manual.
