Lids Sports Group in Taylor, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will oversee staffing, training, and performance to ensure the store meets its goals while maintaining a fun and inclusive environment for the team.

In this role you will manage visual merchandising, inventory controls, and store safety, while partnering with the Store Manager to execute company directives and promotions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss and shrink.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty for scheduling, customer issues, and escalations when Store Manager is away.
• Lead training and development of store associates through LIDS programs.
• Enforce policies, ensure safety, and safeguard inventory and funds.
• Execute merchandising, POS operations, and daily cash handling.
• Support recruiting and onboarding of store personnel.
