Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise moves smoothly from delivery to sales floor.

You will participate in opening/closing tasks, maintain store standards, and help supervise associates while upholding a positive, safe workplace for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Must read and explain operational directives and procedures.
• Experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, welcoming manner and resolve questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Execute opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling and cash handling tasks.
• Lead and develop Store Associates and maintain a respectful environment.
