Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred or required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks typical of store work.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures and training of associates.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
