Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Arlington, TX.

You will assist with daily tasks, help customers, and coordinate merchandise flow from delivery to the sales floor while maintaining store standards and safety. The role involves supervising and developing Store Associates, supporting payroll and scheduling, and ensuring a positive, efficient shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store-related communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store and neat stockroom; protect store assets.
