Job summary

Dollar Tree in Spring, Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help manage a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and repeatedly bend, stand, and walk.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused and able to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications as required.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures for store storefronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged items, and basic record keeping.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
