Dollar Tree in Colorado is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures, while ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.

Responsibilities include training Store Associates, supervising team members, and maintaining store standards, with a strong emphasis on service quality and loss prevention.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent standing, walking, bending, andlift requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
