Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent mobility tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain and adjust fixtures and displays for promotions.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, and recordkeeping.
• Keep the sales floor and stockroom neat and organized.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Ensure policies and safety guidelines are followed by associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restocked, and presentable; manage cleanup tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
