Job summary

Dollar Tree in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver friendly customer service, and develop team members.

You will assist with merchandise flow from the truck to the floor, oversee scheduling and payroll, and ensure safety and policy compliance while maintaining clean, well-stocked sales floors.

This role requires strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail/stockroom experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and communicate store activities.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling/cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas neat and stockroom organized per company standards.
• Protect company assets, including cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Assist Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
