Job summary

Urban Self Storage, Inc. is hiring a part-time Assistant Manager in Hawaii to support daily operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist the Store Manager, help maintain a clean facility, manage customer accounts, and process rental transactions.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work weekends and occasional holidays. Proficiency with office software and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with computers, MS Office, Google Workspace.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Prior customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of a self-storage facility
• Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained, including routine upkeep
• Assist with organizing and completing daily operational tasks
• Handle customer accounts, including delinquency actions
• Tour storage spaces and assist customers throughout the rental process
• Manage daily deposits, cash counts, and petty cash
• Collaborate positively with team members and leadership
• Support occupancy, rental, and customer service goals
• Deliver exceptional customer service through in-person, phone, and email communication
• Conduct regular property walks and security checks throughout the facility
