Par Pacific’s HELE Kapahulu convenience store in Honolulu is hiring an Assistant Store Manager (Full-Time). The role focuses on safety, leadership, and delivering fast, friendly service at the pump and inside the store.

You’ll help train staff, manage daily operations, and ensure accurate cash handling and reporting. Candidates should be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and retail or supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and handling cash required.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Train, develop, guide, and evaluate employees to operate the store effectively and safely.
• Assist Store Manager with paperwork such as performance appraisals, notices, new‑hire checklists, and other accurate and timely submissions.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service at the pump and inside the store; accurately ring up sales and comply with cash handling procedures.
• Plan and manage store activities to maximize operating profit; monitor fuel sales and pricing; ensure stock and displays are per plan.
• Execute store‑level promotions and maintain inventory control; safeguard money and organize site files.
• Assist with staffing and scheduling labor to meet demand while staying within budget.
