Job summary

No'eau Designers seeks an experienced Assistant Store Manager for our new Kamehameha Shopping Center location in Honolulu. The role focuses on driving sales, supervising daily operations, and presenting our local artist products with Aloha Spirit.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of mentoring staff while engaging customers with genuine hospitality. Hawaiʻi cultural knowledge and ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi skills are preferred. Part-time hours may expand for the right person.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of retail management or assistant management experience.
• Proven track record of hitting sales targets and leading teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a people-person energy.

Responsibilities

• Train, motivate, and mentor store employees to foster high performance and team morale.
• Conduct interviews, assist with hiring, and build work schedules; develop store strategies to boost foot traffic and profitability.
• Meet and exceed store sales goals through active leadership and customer engagement.
• Oversee store visual merchandising, layout design, and overall cleanliness/upkeep.
• Perform routine inventory analysis and management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
