Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Columbus, Ohio to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help supervise daily tasks, train associates, manage inventory, and uphold company standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing procedures, directing staff, and maintaining a safe, clean store environment for customers and teammates. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
