Job summary

Dollar Tree in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and develop the team.

You will supervise store associates, assist with payroll and scheduling, ensure merchandize flow, and uphold safety and company policies. This role offers exposure to loss prevention, inventory control, and leadership development in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged goods.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Lead and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Protect store assets and follow company policies.
