Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. The role includes assisting with day-to-day activities, organizing merchandise, and supervising Store Associates to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The candidate will support opening/closing procedures, maintain store standards, and uphold safety and company policies while fostering a respectful environment for customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked store floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
