Family Dollar in Lower Burrell is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development.

In this role you will supervise staff, assist with merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention, and ensure a clean, welcoming shopping environment. This position is part-time, with lifting up to 55 lbs and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Able to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked store environment.
• Supervise and develop store associates.
