Job summary

BoxLunch in McAllen, TX is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team in delivering an exceptional customer experience and achieving sales goals. You will train new recruits and help with daily operations while embracing our pop culture ethos.

You’ll lead by example on the sales floor, manage shifts, process transactions, and assist with merchandising and stock control, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership abilities.
• 18 years or older; high school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle store duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience and build customer loyalty.
• Cover the sales floor and assist store leadership.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Process transactions and drive add-on sales with programs like BOPIS and curbside.
• Support planogram changes and merchandising.
• Maintain stock room and store cleanliness.
