Job summary

BoxLunch in Novi, MI is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team, delivering the best customer experience and using fandom knowledge to train new recruits. You’ll help manage daily operations and work toward sales targets.

You will train teammates, open/close the store, process transactions, and apply knowledge of merchandising and customer service to drive results in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience with product knowledge and customer service.
• Cover sales floor and provide leadership when Manager is away.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Process sales, drive add-on sales, and handle shortages/overages.
• Understand store sales plan, KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion trend information to management and HQ.
• Maintain stock room and store tidiness.
• Develop a collaborative, passionate store team.
• Other duties as assigned.
