Job summary

Daemen University is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-centered Part-Time Program Coordinator to support its ASCEND Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary program for students with IDD.

The Program Coordinator will manage day-to-day operations, collaborate with faculty and staff, support students in academic and social settings, and facilitate internships, job-shadowing, and campus engagement to promote inclusion and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Advocacy for inclusive practices and disability awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student schedules, audits, and academic modifications in collaboration with faculty.
• Support program within campus community including academic departments and student life.
• Lead workshops on inclusive education practices and student skills.
• Maintain documentation and reports of student progress and program activities.
