University Student Housing, LLC is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Specialist in West Chester, PA. The role focuses on processing payments, reconciling accounts, and daily delinquency reporting within a nonprofit housing context.

Responsibilities include posting payments to the PMS, handling NSF/ACH transactions, and maintaining accurate resident ledgers. This position offers a competitive rate and pro-rated PTO, with a retirement contributor plan for employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred or equivalent experience.
• Accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working with financial data.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and daily postings to the property management system.
• Complete scheduled reconciliations and daily delinquency reporting.
• Ensure postings are accurate and timely; data entry accuracy.
• Audit summer housing payments and settlements with leasing/operations teams.
• Maintain delinquency reports and communicate results to staff.
• Coordinate with former residents and guarantors to collect payments.
