• Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or healthcare administration; coursework in medical terminology preferred. Experience in the insurance/HMO industry or academic medical center strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and effectively manage Accounts Receivable using established workqueues and process flows.
• Meets established productivity metrics and collaborates with the practice manager and providers.
• Identify and track third party rejection types to determine patterns and maximize revenue.
• Monitor changes to third party reimbursement policies and billing procedures and suggest policy updates.
• Review, process and challenge all rejections and denials; escalate notable trends to the Practice Manager.
