Manpower, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a part-time role in Spring Valley, NY.

The position supports Accounts Receivable with daily payments and cross-trains in Accounts Payable, offering a temp-to-perm path and a schedule of 8:00 AM–1:30 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The ideal candidate has 1+ year accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and reliable follow-through to ensure timely payments and accurate records.

Formación

• 1+ years of accounting experience; Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable follow-through to complete assigned tasks and payment follow-ups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills when working with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
• Willingness to cross-train in Accounts Payable and assist with basic administrative tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and post daily customer payments, including checks, ACH payments, credit card payments, and payments for web orders.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and short-paid invoices by phone and email to resolve outstanding issues.
• Send past-due invoices and statements to customers to request payment.
• Cross-train in Accounts Payable by reviewing and entering vendor invoices and matching them against purchase orders and receipts.
• Assist with basic vendor inquiries regarding payment status or discrepancies, and support the Accounting Manager with basic administrative tasks as needed.
