Job summary

Echo Design is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to support cash flow and financial operations by managing a portfolio of customer accounts from billing through collection. This part-time, in-office role in Moonachie, NJ, up to 28 hours per week, reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, with 1–3 years in AR or related accounting, proficient in Excel and ERP systems, and able to communicate with internal teams and external customers to

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections or related function.
Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and general accounting principles.
Experience managing customer accounts, collections, deductions, account reconciliations, and payment discrepancies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts from billing through collection, ensuring outstanding balances are addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively conduct outreach on past-due balances.
Develop understanding of assigned customers, payment terms, billing requirements, and account activity.
Evaluate payment patterns and identify potential collection concerns or risks.
Maintain complete and accurate customer account documentation and correspondence.
Build professional relationships with customers through responsive communication and follow-up.
