Job summary

Community Housing Partners Corporation in Orange, VA is seeking a part-time Apartment Maintenance Technician at Spicers Mill to maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances.

You should have at least 2 years of maintenance or related experience and a valid driver's license with a clean record; 20 hours per week and competitive pay between $23.54 and $25 per hour, with room for advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience or electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete routine and moderately complex repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems.
• Complete and document resident work orders accurately and on time.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled property inspections.
• Maintain buildings, common areas, grounds, and other property spaces.
• Complete apartment turnovers with a goal of 10 days or less.
• Participate in scheduled on-call and emergency maintenance coverage.
• Assist with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Support less experienced team members when appropriate.
• Follow CHP safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulations.
