Thies & Talle Management, Inc. is seeking a part-time caretaker to assist with cleaning and light maintenance at our apartment community in Hibbing, MN. The role requires about 20 hours per week and may include night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, vacant units, and exterior spaces, plus snow/ice removal and basic yard work. The position emphasizes reliability, basic safety, and good resident relations.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience in housekeeping, caretaking, or janitorial work.
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions for cleaning supplies.
• Basic arithmetic for timesheets and service requests.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all common areas and leasing office.
• Cleans vacant units and prepares units for new occupancy.
• Picks up trash and maintains a clean exterior environment.
• Performs snow and ice removal on sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, roofs, and common spaces.
• Keeps parking areas clean and well‑maintained.
• Notifies supervisor of resident or safety issues.
• Interacts positively with residents to maintain good communication and resident relations.
• Accurately completes paperwork such as service requests and timesheets.
• Communicates with management on changes, maintenance needs, and tenant issues.
