Job summary

Thies & Talle Management, Inc. is hiring a caretaker to work at two apartment communities in St. Francis and Princeton, MN. The role covers cleaning of turnovers and common areas, light yard work, and ensuring a tidy on-site environment with some night and weekend hours.

The caretaker will report to the Property Manager and work independently to maintain safety and cleanliness for residents and staff. Reliable, detail‑oriented candidates with housekeeping or janitorial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Some experience in housekeeping, caretaking, or janitorial work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all common areas and leasing office.
• Cleans vacant units and prepares units for new occupancy, including cleaning all appliances, cabinets, cupboards, heating registers, light fixtures, blinds, closets, etc.
• Picks up trash on property and maintains a clean and safe exterior environment.
• Performs snow and ice removal including snowblowing, shoveling, and putting down salt, using a pick to remove ice build‑up on sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, roofs, and common spaces.
• Keeps parking areas clean and well maintained.
• Notifies supervisor of any resident or safety issues.
• Interacts positively with residents to maintain good communication and resident relations.
