Job summary

Thies & Talle Management, Inc., a leading property management company in Grand Rapids, MN, is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper (roughly 20 hours per week) to maintain the grounds of our apartment community. Dependability is essential.

The role involves mowing, edging, pruning, fertilizing, and general upkeep, with occasional repairs and coordination with residents and the property manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, caretaking, or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow safety instructions for cleaning supplies.
• Ability to read and follow written directions and schedules.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut lawns and edge walkways.
• Trim and edge around flower beds and walls.
• Prune shrubs and trees as needed.
• Spray fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides as directed.
• Rake leaves and remove litter.
• Shovel snow and spread salt for ice control.
• Perform basic repairs on equipment and report issues.
