Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, setting techniques, and image capture. The role supports our Imaging service line with a focus on patient care and professional collaboration.

The successful candidate will maintain licensure, operate IR equipment, and ensure high-quality images while following safety and documentation standards. This is a part-time position based in Denver, CO with 30 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• ARRT, BCLS and ACLS certifications required within stated timelines.
• State licensure and/or certifications relevant to Angio/Interventional practice.
• Pediatric alignment (PALS) within 120 days for pediatric hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains licensure and certifications for the position.
• Provides procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policies.
• Operates IR equipment and info systems to ensure high-quality images.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity and orders.
• Adheres to radiation safety and maintains safe environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding and consents, QC, and reports problems.
• Provides patient education and comfort; addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and outcomes.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with care providers post-procedure.
• Manages sheath removal/hemostasis at end of procedure.
