Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrub and circulate, and operate interventional radiology equipment. You will ensure patient prep, safety, and accurate documentation while coordinating care with the team.

The role requires ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, and licensure, with preferred VIR certification or 2+ years of interventional experience. This is a part-time 30-hour role at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, and state licensure or certifications are required.
• PALS within 120 days is required for pediatric hospitals where applicable.
• Minimum 2 years Angio/Interventional experience or VIR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policies.
• Operates IR equipment and related systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity, and ensures proper exam readiness.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains safe environment.
• Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, consents, QC, and reporting issues.
• Educates patient, ensures comfort, and addresses family concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers after procedures.
• Ends procedure by securing sheath or achieving hemostasis.
