Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform Angiography procedures, scrub, set techniques, and capture diagnostic images. You will join a collaborative Imaging team focused on patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities include maintaining licensure, assisting in the Angio lab, and ensuring high-quality imaging while following safety and protocol guidelines.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required to practice.
• BCLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 120 days.
• State licensure and/or certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity, and assists with exam setup.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding and consent, and QC programs.
• Educates patients, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and any adverse events.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• After procedure, manages sheath hemostasis.
