• Ensures accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information on registrations.
• Screens patient data for insurance eligibility and communicates differences.
• Verifies insurance pre-certification and physician referral requirements.
• Identifies self-pay patients and refers to financial assistance as applicable.
• Maintains communication with departments and clinical staff involved.
• Assists in shadowing/precepting new employees.
