Job summary

Bechtel is scaling its Energy GBU AI & Data practice to advance AI-enabled solutions across engineering, procurement, project controls, and operations. The AI Portfolio Governance Manager leads governance and oversight of AI and data initiatives across the Energy Business Unit, ensuring transparency, compliance, and risk management aligned with business priorities.

This role combines AI knowledge with governance expertise and EPC domain understanding; part-time telework with required in-person

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred: advanced degree or AI governance certification (CDMP/AIGP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Define and maintain AI governance policies, standards, and controls.
Maintain AI portfolio registry, risk classifications, and compliance status.
Establish data governance standards and embed Responsible AI principles across AI delivery.
Assess AI risks and define oversight requirements.
Monitor AI, data, and regulatory requirements; partner with Legal, Cybersecurity, IT.
Align AI portfolio with business priorities; facilitate governance reviews.
Deliver AI governance training and awareness.
