Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking an AI Portfolio Governance Manager for our Energy GBU. This part-time telework role leads governance and oversight of AI and data initiatives, establishing standards, controls, and decision frameworks for responsible AI delivery.

The position combines AI knowledge with governance expertise and EPC business understanding to ensure transparency and risk management. This role is designated as part-time telework and requires at least three days of in-person attendance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8–10 years in governance or data/technology roles within EPC, engineering, construction, or energy.
• Advanced degree or AI governance certification (e.g., CDMP, AIGP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define AI governance policies, standards, and controls.
• Maintain AI portfolio registry, risk classifications, and compliance status.
• Establish data governance standards and embed Responsible AI principles across AI solution delivery.
• Partner with Legal, Cybersecurity, and IT on privacy, security, and compliance.
