Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and project management skills.
• Detail oriented, flexible, and able to adapt to change.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with afterschool programming and activities preferred.
• Knowledge of program development, management and afterschool organization preferred.
• Skills in MS Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations of afterschool programs at the building site.
• Monitor staffing hours, timesheets, and costs for the site.
• Develop and implement enrichment activities with the Senior Group Leader.
• Maintain parent newsletters and calendars for families.
• Maintain positive relationships with principal, teachers, students and families.
• Track attendance and incident reports; ensure emergency contacts are up-to-date.
• Communicate regularly with parents via email, phone, or dismissal times.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain rosters and attendance records.
• Attend professional development and training workshops as necessary.
• Meet reporting deadlines for state and federal requirements.
