Job Goal: To work with Thrive Afterschool staff to assist and guide staff in programming in afterschool activities, including homework assistance. The role of the academic teacher is to bridge the academics of the student's school day into the afterschool program within the school environment.
Performance Responsibilities:
Terms of Employment: Hourly rate; this is a part-time position that runs only during the school year only. This position requires a minimum of 4 hours on site with students, and up to an additional 4 hours of planning/ prep time.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of non-certified staff.
